These terms describe the basic use of the TruckMeru website and the process for requesting transport services. TruckMeru is operated by Javiak Logistics Services Private Limited.
Use the website lawfully and provide accurate information when requesting a quote, creating an account, or submitting a booking. Do not misuse the website, submit misleading shipment information, or attempt to access another person's account.
Submitting a request does not by itself establish a confirmed transport service. Availability, truck type, pickup and delivery details, cargo information, and other booking conditions must be confirmed through the applicable booking process.
Displayed or communicated pricing may depend on the truck type, shipment details, route, availability, and other booking information. Confirm the applicable price and service details before relying on a booking.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate cargo and contact information and for supplying documents required for their shipment where applicable.
Payment is collected after pickup. The booking amount may change if the pickup area, drop area, material, material weight, or other shipment details change. Any revised amount should be confirmed before the booking continues.
If a pickup fails because of a third-party transport provider, TruckMeru's refund responsibility is limited to the amount already paid for that specific booking. Any other claim or compensation is subject to the applicable booking terms.
If a truck waits at the loading or unloading point, waiting charges may apply. These charges are based on the terms discussed and agreed with the customer by email or phone.
TruckMeru arranges road transport through independent transport providers. Loading, carriage, and delivery are performed by the transport provider assigned to the booking, and the customer's cargo should be declared accurately so that the right truck and handling can be arranged.
To the extent permitted by Indian law, TruckMeru's responsibility for a booking is limited to the amount paid to TruckMeru for that specific booking. TruckMeru is not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost business, or delay-related losses, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
Neither party is responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including strikes, road closures, severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or civil disturbance. The affected party should inform the other party as soon as practical, and the booking may be rescheduled or cancelled without penalty for the delay caused by such an event.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute should first be raised with TruckMeru at [email protected] so that it can be resolved directly. If a dispute cannot be resolved in this way, the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, have exclusive jurisdiction.
